GIGABYTE Aivia M8600 Wireless Macro Gaming Mouse Review
"First impressions last. That's the first thing you'll think of when looking at the GIGABYTE Aivia M8600 Wireless Macro Gaming Mouse. It's quite striking to look at; to hold on the other hand is a different argument. I use as my everyday mouse a Razer Mamba and it's quite curved; the GIGABYTE Aivia M8600 mouse has a high ridge where your palm rests which can be annoying - you may ask why I'm starting off with a negative?
Because that's about the only thing I didn't like with the mouse. GIGABYTE has done quite a good job on the Aivia M8600. The box packaging is very, very unique with a cylinder tube that comes apart in 3 pieces - the mouse in its own section, with a bag of goodies (charger, batteries, etc) in another section. Every hand is different. Some are small, some are big, some people have large fingers, some have small. I have medium sized hands and my palm kind of double thinks as I lay it on the mouse itself. Kind of like "what the hell is this edged bump?" - but you get used to it."

SteelSeries QcK mass Mousing Surface Review
As a gamer, I am very concerned about comfort. The first thing that comes to mind when I think of comfort, is of course, the peripherals. From the mouse to the keyboard, these things are quite important to even the best of us. From those gamers who prefer the old school Microsoft IntelliMouse, to more modern gaming devices such as the Razer Naga or Logitech G500, there is an element of comfort we have grown to appreciate. This is especially true for enthusiasts in this department. However, one thing that is often overlooked by some is the gaming surface. Be it a desk surface, a cloth mousepad, a glass mousepad, or even a metal mousepad, familiar and comfortable surfaces usually lead to better performance -- or at least increased comfort in gaming. Some people might even say it increases productivity in office work. Either way, the mousepad can be a very significant part of any computing experience. From all of this, it is quite easy to guess we will be taking a look at a gaming surface today. The product we will be taking a look at is sent to us from a well known gaming company -- SteelSeries -- who is renowned for their mousepads, headphones, keyboards, and mice. The SteelSeries QcK mass has the "mass" tacked on to the back due to the density of the material used to create this mousepad. Read on to find out how this affects the overall usage of this gaming surface, and how well it stacks up in the real world.

Gigabyte Aivia M8600 Hybrid Gaming Mouse
When it comes to gaming peripherals, Gigabyte's products have always been well priced for the rich feature sets and high end design they offer. The new Aivia M8600 continues this tradition by offering a uniquely designed mouse which has the ability to be used in both wired and wireless modes for under $100. However, Gigabyte has taken some risky decisions here so it will be interesting to see whether they all turn out for the best.

Thermaltake Dasher vs. Mionix Propus 380 Mousepad
"There's no point on putting down the money for some (expensive) gaming-grade mice like the ones we test here if you're gonna use it on some cheap mousepad. Those peripherals are great, but they truly excell when sliding over a gaming-grade mousepad that offers optimal tracking conditions. We received two models with the same goal of improving the performance of gaming mice but with different approaches to it: one is flexible and made from a cloth weave surface (the Themaltake Dasher) and the other one is rigid with a silver-metallic plastic coating (Mionix Propus 380). We made an ensemble test which you are gonna read after we describe each mousepad separately."

GIGABYTE Aivia M8600 Wireless Gaming Mouse
Finding a good gaming mouse isn't hard, but finding one that's wireless is. Even high-end options suffer from a major flaw: poor battery life. GIGABYTE realizes this and made sure no one could say that about its Aivia M8600, which in our tests lasted an entire week in 'gaming' mode. Let's see if that, and its other features, warrant the M8600's $105 price.

Logitech Performance Mouse MX Review
When Logitech released its Revolution MX nearly five years ago, it delivered a mouse that impressed - and for good reason. It featured a great design that was both comfortable and attractive, and had a very effective hyper scroll wheel. With the Performance MX, a natural progression has been made, and an impressive one at that

Cooler Master Storm Spawn Gaming Mouse
"The CM Storm Spawn gaming mouse retails at $49, and it’s one of the few mice available today which is designed for those users who prefer a “claw” style grip while gaming. It’s loaded with a 3500 DPI optical sensor utilizing an anti-drifting feature and 32kb of onboard memory, but how does it stack up in the crowded market of aftermarket gaming peripherals?"
