"The most interesting thing we saw today was an EXCLUSIVE LOOK at a product that is targeted squarely at the enthusiast community — the Hammerhead memory modules and water cooling system. The Hammerhead modules come with the same cooling fins as the Ridgeback line as the standard cooling option. For those who would like to get a little more extreme with their cooling, you can purchase the modules with the liquid cooling solution. What looks like just a flat copper plate is a little bit more."

For MSI, things are rolling with brand new marketing and PC product development teams. Not only did they show off a number of new and upcoming products at highly competitive price points but overclocking muscle was also flexed with an overclocking event dubbed MOA. In this article we take a look primarily at the AM3+ Big Bang Conqueror and their new Lightning series of GPUs.

Considering Sapphire is an AMD-centric company, they didn’t have that much new to display that we can discuss without breaking NDA. With that being said, the coming months should some interesting graphics cards from them and the acquisition of most of EVGA’s motherboard development team means major moves on that side of things as well.

Day 2 of CES 2011 -- We had the opportunity to visit PowerColor at their tower suite in the Wynn hotel and get a look at some of their current and upcoming products. Among the products we were shown was the first passively cooled HD6850 card and a water-cooled HD6970. We also got a small nugget of information regarding the HD6990.

MSI has been making quality products for years. This week during CES 2011 their flagship motherboard, the MSI Big Bang XPower X58 motherboard to the test. Overclockers were flown into compete in the MSI Operation Las Vegas Master Overclocking Arena 2011. Hosted at Pole Position Raceway in Las Vegas everyone there was having a good time. At CES 2011 we stopped by the Wynn Hotel to visit with EVGA and one video card really caught out attention. The dual-slot video card was 11-inches long and was clearly packing the power of two GPU's. EVGA would only let is know that it's an early prototype of an upcoming video card that they have not released. Read on to see some images and even a quick video clip of this new video card!

Samsung Electronics and Microsoft, at Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2011 in Las Vegas, unveiled the next generation of the Microsoft Surface experience featuring PixelSense technology, which gives LCD panels the power to see without the use of cameras. Building from the innovation of the first version of Microsoft Surface and Samsung's display technology, it is now possible for people to share, collaborate and explore together using a large, thin display that recognizes fingers, hands and other objects placed on the screen. This experience will come to life in the Samsung SUR40 for Microsoft Surface for business customers later in 2011 in 23 countries.

Intel has been working with all sorts of companies in the industry to build an enormous ecosystem of media and processing applications, all designed to enhance you're computing experience. "As you can see, the camera does real-time image and spatial recognition to drive the projector display. All of the calculations are done on the Intel Sandy Bridge processor utilizing the new AVX extensions, as well as Turbo Boost 2.0 when needed. Intel plans to develop other applications using this real-time spatial recognition and enable many new types of interactive environments...."
