CodeCretures requires a fully compatible DirectX 8 videocard with preferably 128 MB of RAM to store textures. Codecreatures utilizes vertex as well as pixel shaders to run their tests.

CodeCreatures is a benchmark which is purely videocard limited and here we see that there's no competition for the Radeon 9700 Pro. The original MSI GeForce4 and the "improved" one with 8x AGP perform the same.
