AquaMark is another DirectX 8 benchmark. Using vertex shaders, any card that is DirectX8 compatible will not just have a huge speed boost, the image will also look better. Default test has 24 MB worth of textures.

In the DirectX8 based AquaMark we see that the Gigabyte Radeon 9600 Pro is slightly faster then the Albatron GeForceFX 5600P Turbo (which is one of the fastest FX5600's on the market).
