BTX motherboards: Foxconn, MiTAC

Foxconn are a new name in the motherboard industry as far as consumers are concerned, but they are one of the largest manufacturers out there in actuality. This Foxconn 915P01 is based on the i915P and ICH6 chipsets.

Another BTX Foxconn motherboard on display, the GDS01. With support for DDR2, PCI-E, Intel's new socket 775 processor (to be released June 21st), and based on the already popular i915G chipset, this board would be a good one to watch out for. The ICH6RW southbrige boasts integrated wireless, SATA RAID and Intel's Matrix storage technology.

This is the MiTAC PT10GB, a BTX board built with the ICH6RW and i915G chipsets as well. With the BTX standard, the CPU is located close to the front of the case so cool air can get to it first.
