AA/AF Videocard Benchmarks: Crysis

Crysis 1.2 - AA/AF Tests

Source: Electronic Arts

Crysis is a science fiction first-person shooter developed by Crytek. Crysis uses Microsoft's new API, DirectX 10 for graphics rendering, and includes the new engine—the CryEngine 2—that is the successor to Far Cry's CryEngine. CryEngine 2 is among the first engines to use the DirectX 10 framework of Windows Vista, but can also run using DirectX 9, both on Vista and Windows XP.

Turn up the AA, and the GV-N26SO-896I videocard is able to make up for its early falterings and rally for scores that are again just under Geforce GTX 285-levels of performance. At these settings though, the Radeon HD 4890 still remains a bit faster though in this test.

It looks the Gigabyte GV-N26SO-896I really does have what it takes to be the best of the Geforce GTX 260 videocards.
