PCMark can be used on desktop PC's, Laptops and
even Workstations and tests everyday computing from home to office
usage. PCMark specifically stresses the CPU, memory subsystem,
graphics subsystem, hard drives, WindowsXP GUI (if WinXP is used), video
performance and even laptop batteries.
These are some
very high memory scores indeed! If you're into setting records in PCMark, you
should check out some
DDR2!
PCMark04 is the latest version of the popular
PCMark series. PCMark04 is an application-based benchmark and a premium tool for
measuring overall PC performance. It uses portions of real applications instead
of including very large applications or using specifically created code. This
allows PCMark04 to be a smaller installation as well as to report very accurate
results.
Things
are a bit closer in PCMark04, but overclocking does boost the score for the Samsung modules quite
nicely.
